Balance

“It seemed to me that it could be useful to give practical advice to the riders to improve with their horse starting from the point where they are today, with their strengths and weaknesses, their more or less correct position, with a horse that is theirs or not, more or less perfect, more or less easy, straight and balanced.
With the experience of a 1000 to 1500 lessons I've given every year for ten years, I realized that the application of those principles is enough in most of the cases to improve the horse's work, their welfare, and to give their riders their smile and pleasure back.”
Hoping that it will be the case for you too…

Straightness

Presented in the form of a survey, and thanks to the notions acquired in the first part, this section will enable you to discover step by step, and by yourself, the causes of the horse's natural crookedness, and to really understand what you have to look for, as well as how to obtain an equal contact on both reins at first, followed by a truly straight horse.
Additionally, you will also learn the feelings telling you that you are on the right track.
This section will complete the whole picture because all the notions that we will have studied in this book will come together and will take on their full meaning.
“Great book! Thanks to the mental images, to your clear and concise explanations, I finally had tools to improve, to help my mare and to be on the same wavelength again. Finally a real working tool understandable and simple to put into practice. Thank you, Pierre. After every line, I have a single thought: to be in the saddle.” Evelyne H. – France.
“Pierre, our horses thank you!” Marie-Sophie B. – France.

“Pierre gives us a concise, accurate, analytical book which enables every rider in difficulty to put words to complex situations that they encounter, and for which they often feel guilty. In particular, they will be able to find a quick answer, through simple and well-thought-out exercises which will lead them to the equestrian tactfulness which is essential to a correct dressage. The purity of the work is limitless and that is what it makes it wonderful. I wish to all a pleasant reading, which I am sure, will enlighten a lot of uncertain riders, and will give some of them the answer they’ve desired and expected for many years.” Elisabeth de Walsche, student of the Master Nuno Oliveira for 17 years.

“Thank you greatly for the help you gave me through the clarity and precision of your explanations. I am so happy with your approach, calm and respectful of the horse. It really did wonders with my mare that was really anxious and behind the bit. I am a trainer and I really appreciate the “moral support” to have your book as a reference.” Anne – Quebec, Canada.
“Nothing but happiness!!!! Clear exercises, precise and concrete explanations: Thank you so much!!!!” Udonis, on cheval-savoir.com website.
“Only one word: awesome!” Michel D. – Belgium.
“Here, finally, is a book of which General Decarpentry couldn’t have said “Books teach only those who already know.” A high level book, which goes to the heart of the matter while remaining totally intelligible to “normal” riders.” Jean-Marie A. – France.
“A pleasant work to read and extra comprehensible which feed our willingness to ride and to discover new sensations! Thank you.” Nadège – Facebook.
